For guitarist/vocalist Gregory Cole of Crescendo, summer's been a windfall of great opportunities — his band went through a lineup change that has positively impacted their live sound, slayed the second night of Echo Park Rising, and threw down the third iteration of the DreamGaze Festival, playing out to Los Angeles and San Francisco crowds.

2015 is drawing to a close, and it's still uncertain if we'll see Crescendo's sophomore album release this year. But for those of you who missed out this summer, you're in luck: hear the five piece's brand of cerulean dreamgaze at two back-to-back shows for free! Crescendo are up tonight at the local pub Lot 1 with Littlest Sister (acoustic instrumental), The Bees and Bones (garage blues), Wild Year (synthpop), and touring Seattle band Pitschouse (dreampop). They'll also perform at Harvard & Stone's on Wednesday with new talent Glasz and Nashville-blooded headliner Reno Bo. Cindy Sukrattawong is one integral third of surfpunky Dustin and the Explosions. She causes a ruckus on the regular, trading dirty guitar licks and bass fills with Mike Trejo. But on her spare time, Cindy is strips down the guitar tone to its most basic form, harvesting acoustic timbres for her instrumental project Littlest Sister. Backed by drummer Evan Piehler (also part of D & the E's), the duo's sounds rolls like a summer wind with its rising and falling rhythms, with cascading strums that ease into a soft lull. Emotionally dynamic, Littlest Sister offers listeners a peak of the greatest heights for the heart to soar in the intimate expanse of its wordless narratives.

Pehrspace is holding its second ever No Voltage Night to coincide with Young Lovers’ second night of residency. All acts will perform their sets acoustically with only candles to light the venue.

Young Lovers have arranged their dreamy post-rock songs especially for the night, backed by a chamber orchestra with very special guests. Diverse musician Matt Kivel, (of Princeton, ex-Gap Dream) who just finished his newest album Janus, will perform along with back-to-back girl-boy duos: folk-inspired Sacred Destinies and acoustic instrumental rock Littlest Sister. Folk singer-songwriter Sienna Moffitt will make an appearance too; stream and download her recently released demo on Bandcamp!
